Edward Tashjian
Edward is the founder, director, and editor-in-chief of Badmatidaran. He is a historian from Bourj Hammoud, Lebanon, and holds a BA in History from the American University of Beirut. He is pursuing an MA in History at the University of British Columbia. His work is guided by the belief that Armenian history should be accessible to everyone without losing its depth, context, or complexity. He works to preserve Armenian stories and sources, challenge oversimplified accounts of the past, and show how history can help people understand the present.
